Point of Care Testing<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Point-of-care testing refers to pathology testing performed in a clinical setting (such as family medicine) at the time of patient consultation, generating a test result that is used to make an immediate informed clinical decision.\u00a0 A WONCA Special Interest Group on<\/p>\n

Point of Care Testing was approved by World Council at last year\u2019s meeting in Prague, and the POCT SIG has been incredibly active ever since.\u00a0 Read\u00a0a report of their latest workshop<\/a>, held at the WONCA Asia Pacific Region conference in Kuching, Malaysia.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Vasco da Gama\u2019s Tweets<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0On June 18 2014 the Twitter account of the Vasco da Gama Movement, @vdgmeu, reached its 1000th follower!<\/p>\n

Just less than three years ago, on August 6 2011, the Twitter account of the Vasco da Gama Movement was created. @vdgmeu has since shared with its followers 371 photos and videos and it also enriched Social Media conversations with 2036 of its own tweets and many more re-tweets, quotes and favourite tweets !<\/p>\n
