Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n

The European Ultrasound Working Group – EUVEKUS based in Vienna – organizing between 06th-07th September 2024,\u00a0the Euroson POCUS SCHOOL Vienna Conference, 5th Edition<\/strong>, under the auspices of the European Federation of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology EFSUMB, credited by EACCME with 16 credits CME, which will be held at\u00a0the Medical University of Vienna, Universit\u00e4tszahnklinik Wien, Sensengasse 2A, 1090 Vienna, Austria.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be a conference attended by the Presidents and Board Leaders of\u00a0four European organizations,<\/strong>\u00a0represented by\u00a0EFSUMB – Prof. Caroline Ewertsen, WONCA EUROPE- Prof Shlomo Vinker (Israel), WFUMB – Prof. Dr. Christoph Frank DIETRICH, MBA, WFUMB Treasurer (Switzerland) \/ Prof Dr. Ioan Sporea WFUMB Vicepresident, and me as the EUVEKUS President,<\/strong>\u00a0to promote and develop in daily practice the Point of Care Ultrasonography, to increase the accuracy of positive and differential diagnosis in Primary and Ambulatory healthcare.<\/p>\n

Several 14 experts in the field of ultrasonography will participate as speakers and Keynote Speakers who will present in some theoretical and practical sessions (Hands-On Sessions) notions of general clinical ultrasound at a basic\/medium level of training on high-performance ultrasound devices.<\/p>\n

There will be a Hybrid Conference that will take place with both the physical presence and the online presence of participants and speakers.<\/p>\n

We would like to inform you that EUVEKUS has launched several 5 participation scholarships (worth 250 Euro) for family medicine young physicians, students, or family medicine residency who can apply to obtain them by filling out this Google form.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>We specify that this scholarship only covers the participation fee for the Euroson POCUS School Vienna Conference, 5th Edition.<\/p>\n

Dear participants, to benefit from\u00a0the 16 EACCME credits<\/strong>, it is\u00a0mandatory to be officially registered on the conference website<\/strong>,\u00a0to participate during the two days of the conference,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0to hand in physically or online the EACCME crediting feedback questionnaire of the UEMS<\/strong>, after registration. Please complete the EACCME Credit Questionnaire and return it to the organizers to benefit from the 16 credits after onsite registration.<\/p>\n

We also specify that students and young residents in the specialty of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics can apply for these scholarships, and also students interested in clinical ultrasonography.<\/p>\n

The application period for the participation scholarship allocated by EUVEKUS (The European Ultrasound Working Group in Frontline Care) is between 20-30.07.2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inclusion criteria for the EUVEKUS Scholarship:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Young doctors under the age of 35: family medicine specialists\/GPs, internal medicine, pediatric, emergency specialists.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Family medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric residents.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Medicine students.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
